I’ve faced challenges that could have broken me. Growing up, I was bullied throughout school, and later battled severe mental health struggles. I even lost my children to social services and felt completely alone. I’ve been sectioned multiple times, and the weight of it all often felt unbearable. But in those dark moments, I found a small spark of strength that kept me going—and led me here.

During those tough times, I realized how important it is to have a reminder to keep fighting and stay strong. If I had heard the words “BE POSITIVE, STAY STRONG” during my lowest moments, maybe I wouldn’t have fallen as hard. That’s why I created this brand—to be that reminder for others facing their own battles, whether it’s mental health, personal struggles, or the ups and downs of life.

When COVID hit, I had to close my first business, which was a difficult loss. But it gave me time to reflect and heal. I started a YouTube channel to share my experiences and saw how powerful positivity can be. I wanted to do more than just talk—I wanted to create something real, something you could wear to feel connected to. That’s when I started my clothing line, not just as fashion but as empowerment.

Every design comes from a personal place—whether it’s a simple shirt reminding you to keep your head up or a bold statement that speaks to your inner strength. This brand isn’t just about me—it’s about you. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt lost or unsure of how to keep going. I want you to know you’re not alone, and you have the strength to push through.

Me, Katie Lerwill: I’m the founder and the creative heart of Lerwill. Every design comes from a deeply personal place, shaped by my own experiences overcoming mental health challenges and living with autism. I pour my resilience and passion for spreading positivity into every piece I create because I want each design to uplift and empower you, just like they’ve done for me.

My niece, Ellie, is a key part of the creative process. She’s right there with me during all the brainstorming sessions, making sure every design speaks to our mission of strength and empowerment. She brings fresh ideas and a lot of heart to everything we do

Thomas David Lee

My husband, Thomas, is the backbone of our operations. He’s involved in the day-to-day running of the business and also handles all the legal stuff, making sure Lerwill is protected as we grow. His support keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

As a team, we collaborate, share ideas, and face any challenges together. I personally wear my designs, and if something doesn’t feel right, I work with the team to fix it. That’s my promise to you: every product we put out has been carefully crafted and tested, so you can trust in the quality and love behind it.
